36 | 365 I did it!

Climbed to the top of a slide that she needed help with last year. Feeling of accomplishment….nothing better.

35 | 365 Seven for Saturday

Who said weekends are relaxing? Oy. Five kids. They’ll suck your down time.

The day went like this:

9 AM: Paxton baseball game (an hour + away)

Jackson basketball game

11 AM Braden baseball game

12 PM Paxton baseball game (2nd game of a round robin)

1 PM Carson baseball game

3 PM Braden Basketball game

4 PM Jackson Hitting

5 PM Paxton basketball game

5 – 7 PM Jackson Field Practice

We walked away from the day with only one loss…6-1 for the day…not too shabby. Thankful for amazing grandparents who carted Paxton to Auburndale and an easy peasy 2 year old who hung with me the whole day and laid her head on various bleachers to take rests through the day.

….and most of all for the big drink I had when I got home.

Life is good.

34 | 365 Joy and hair

I’ve alluded to the hair obsession I have. Not so much about doing it, but that girls’ hair in this house should be long so no one thinks you’re a boy. (issues, much, Lynne???) And I love how happy she is, how free she is here and how awesome her hair looks.

Every morning, when I pull out that brush, I understand why my mom cut my hair…but I’m stronger than her and I will prevail.;)

Life is good.

She is growing up so fast. It is amazing to look at your header picture on the blog and then this one! :)

I feel the exact same way about girls hair. If anyone puts a pair of scissors near Shyne’s hair ……….. Ugh. My mum used to cut my hair because she liked how it curled. I put my foot down and have had long hair since.

33/365 Looking back

I hope you always look back with a smile on your face, Baby Girl.

This is just stunning, Lynne. She is such a little beauty and has such a feminine way about her.

32/366: A duck

I’m not a naturey photographer, mainly because there’s no time for me to venture to parts where I could find anything worthy of a shot.  So, yeah…this shot doesn’t really go with my everything else. We’ll call it versatile and not a style lapse:)And I don’t really give a flying duck….

Ohhhh, I’m such a cheese ball..that was terrible LOL
